St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, February 21st, 2022. For Immediate Release

Work Global Canada Inc. is proud to announce its 10th anniversary in business. In 2012, Paul Shelley, Wanda Cuff Young, and Director Dr. Brian Ramjattan, embarked on an initiative to provide staffing and recruitment solutions to business owners throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Since its inception in 2012, the company has been providing staffing solutions for urban and remote businesses throughout the province. Beginning with just three staff, the firm gradually expanded as the need for labor solutions from business owners grew. Today, the firm has grown to twenty-four staff members from a broad spectrum of nationalities, offering services in multiple languages, and has become a leader in providing full-turnkey labor market solutions.

Adjusting to this growth and to having an edge in navigating the complexities of Immigration programs, on staff are eight immigration consultants licensed with The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Each consultant is dedicated to making the immigration process a positive and seamless experience for both employers and prospective.

“As a former minister of Immigration, I am delighted to see growth in our company. Not only in Newfoundland and Labrador, but also with the premiers of Atlantic Canada. We are thankful for their support and interest in our medical and health care directives. The ministers of immigration in all four provinces have been and will continue to be engaged.”

Paul Shelley, President, CEO

“The Work Global Canada team is dedicated to making the immigration experience a positive relationship for both the employer and the employee. We offer services that encourage permanent settlement in rural Newfoundland and Labrador. We are here for you. At Work Global Canada Inc. relationships matter.”

Wanda Cuff Young, VP of Operations

Though our footprint originates in Newfoundland and Labrador our growth extends to numerous provinces with satellite offices in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Ontario. While providing international skilled talent to employers we have adopted culturally diverse members to our staff roster that has proven successful in international client relations and communication.

To commemorate this occasion the firm, during the summer of 2021, has injected into its online presence with some rebranding initiatives, including a new logo, photography, a reworking of their website, and promotional videos.

We would love to celebrate in person at this time, but due to COVID-19 and public health restrictions, we aim to provide an in-person ceremony and celebration on the end of June 2022. Leading up to this timeframe we will send further invitations, notices, and announcements via all our marketing channels. Over the coming weeks and leading to this official in person celebration we will share feature videos, testimonials, and staff profiles.
