Work Global Canada Inc. Celebrates Milestone Anniversary with Commitment to Newcomers and Employers
A Celebration of Diversity and Opportunity
Work Global Canada Inc. is thrilled to commemorate another year of success and service on this special anniversary. As a leader in connecting newcomers with Canadian employers, we continue to foster a community that thrives on diversity and the mutual benefits of international talent.
On Tuesday, February 13th, 2024, join Work Global Canada Inc. as we proudly mark another year of exceptional service and dedication to facilitating the integration of newcomers into the Canadian workforce and assisting employers in finding the right talent. Since our inception, we have grown from a small team to a robust staff of multi-lingual and multi-disciplined professionals who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals and the success of businesses.
When the war in Ukraine started, we immediately initiated a dedicated humanitarian effort and in July of 2022 the Ukrainian Support Program (USP) was born.
Under this program, we have and continue to successfully place Ukrainian workers in different sectors across the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Our gratitude goes to the exemplary employers who have facilitated the integration of Ukrainian immigrants and their families into their new surroundings, despite the linguistic challenges.
Our CEO, Paul Shelley, reflects on the journey: “It’s been an incredible ride. Each year, we’ve expanded our reach and deepened our understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with global recruitment and labor market solutions. I am proud of our team’s unwavering commitment to excellence.”
Vice President, Wanda Cuff Young, adds: “Our growth is a testament to the underlying demand from Canadian businesses for skilled international talent. We’ve committed all our resources to support their growth and, in turn, contribute to the prosperity of our communities.”
In the past year, we’ve achieved significant milestones, including the opening of a new satellite office in Saint John, New Brunswick, and the successful launch of various programs aimed at smoothing the transition for newcomers and providing comprehensive support to employers.
As licensed members in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, our consultants ensure a seamless immigration process, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue our mission of bridging gaps in the labor market and fostering a diverse and dynamic workforce that benefits all Canadians.
